Wenn es mir gerade nicht so gut geht, weil mich etwas total aufregt oder deprimiert, höre ich gerne "the tension and the spark" von darren hayes. Es dürfte sein bislang düsterstes Album sein. Es ist durchdrungen von negativen Emotionen wie Depression, Selbstzerstörung, Verzweiflung, Ironie und Kritik an das Verhalten anderer Menschen. Lichtblicke und Hoffnung sind eher selten das Thema. Vielmehr versucht er mit allem abzuschließen und konzentriert sich so auf einen Neuanfang.

Diese Lyrics passen wie angegossen auf eine Person die mir leider sehr nahe steht - und auch immer nahe stehen wird..
