There was a time
When I had to run away
To find my own freedom

I hoped these times would end one day

There was a time
When I had to cry alone
Because of a sweet melody
I don't want you to cry again

Because my words hurt you so much
Because my silent whistling
Was like a dagger in your heart

There was a time
When I didn't want to hear
These voices anymore
I don't want to run away again
I don't want to see the colors again

I hope these times will never come
